Caminito carries the legacy of the best fine wine-making tradition: born at the foothills of the Andes, surrounded by the spectacular “Cordón del Plata” or Silver Mountain Chain where the Tupungato volcano towers more than 3,000 feet over an incomparable landscape.

The diurnal temperature range of about 15°C (59°F) in the summer highly promotes color and tannin development in the grapes, which are suitable for the production of long-ageing wines, achieving optimum quality levels.

This wine ages 12 months in French oak casks and 24 months in bottle.

Due to the characteristics of its well-integrated, round, sweet, pleasant, harmonious, very well blended and balanced tannins with a long persistent finish, this wine pairs well with the following dishes:

- Grilled red meat and pasta
- Soft and firm cheese
- Argentine empanadas (beef pie) and barbecue
- Spicy dishes and pasta with red sauce
